On a step-by-step basis, that’s the general idea. In more detail, the process generally goes like this:
We begin our content creation process by developing detailed briefs for each page using the keywords you’ve identified in your platform account (or via a questionnaire we’ll supply if you aren’t a platform client).
These briefs include clear direction on how to incorporate the targeted primary keyword and additional semantically relevant keywords throughout the page copy. In addition, we make sure the meta title, meta description and all header tags on each page are optimized.
Once the content has been written, we’ll review it internally to make sure it’s optimized according to the keywords in the content brief. Then, we’ll deliver a draft to you for review. You’ll receive one round of edits, which we will incorporate for you at no additional cost.
After you’ve approved the content, we can use some of your consulting hours to help you add it to your site or you can push it live with your internal team.
Over the next few weeks after content has been published, we’ll watch how the pages perform to see if adjustments need to be made. Throughout our engagement, we’ll also continue to monitor progress on your key pages and metrics over time and continue to adjust strategy as needed.
